Since the origin of its technology in 1986, PrimeCare has
been a leading developer of patient management software. The Company's work force
comprises experienced talent with extensive
careers in healthcare and technology industries. The
focus of PrimeCare's work is the creation of an electronic
record of the patient - physician encounter. The patient is
the key to their medical history yet is often the least involved
participant in their healthcare. PrimeCare's premiere product,
the PrimeCare™ Patient Management System ("the
PrimeCare System"), actively involves patients in their
healthcare.
PrimeCare has contracted with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine
in New York City, to review and update the medical content
of the PrimeCare System. The PrimeCare System also provides
clinical management capabilities and is compatible with practice
management, EMR and CPR software packages.
The Company also develops and markets the E&M CodeComplier™
a documentation analysis module. During the encounter, the
E&M CodeComplier continually analyzes the encounter documentation
generated by the patient's and physician's use of the PrimeCare
System. Using the 1997 HCFA guidelines, the CodeComplier automatically
computes the proper E&M coding level.
PrimeCare's distribution map is founded on the development
of a strong value-added reseller channel. In addition, PrimeCare
will consider OEM, private label and licensing relationships
to the extent that these associations will not conflict with
PrimeCare's reseller program.
